Who is Socialite Society catered toward? Women of color aged 26-45, including but not limited to African American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latina, Hispanic/Latina, Native American/Indigenous, South Asian, East Asian, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, and mixed-race women. Women who share our values of empowerment, community, and purpose. Our community is filled with sophisticated, classy women who are self aware, ambitious, fun and drama free.
Do I need to live in Chicago to join? Yes, since most of our events and activities are based in Chicago, we recommend that members reside in or near the area to fully enjoy the benefits of membership. However, we may expand to include virtual components or other locations in the future.
What types of events can I expect as a member? Socialite Society hosts a variety of events, including chic gatherings, networking mixers, wellness sessions, personal development workshops. Things like luxury picnics, rooftop parties, wine tastings, brunches, dinners, Pilates classes, spa days, goal-setting party's, and fireside chats with a therapist, ensuring a well-rounded experience for our members.
What does the membership fee cover? The membership fee includes access to our exclusive network, most events, and discounts on self-care services. It also supports our wellness and personal development programs. You can choose between $150/monthly or $600/quarterly. At this time we don't offer annual payments but if it is in demand we will!
Is there a registration fee, and is it refundable? Yes, there is a one-time $250 registration fee. Both the registration fee and monthly dues are non-refundable, as outlined in our member agreement.
How does Socialite Society give back to the community? We actively seek for organizations that support women and young girls in need through donations, and curated events. We also collaborate with local women-owned businesses and organizations to extend our impact.
Can I pause my membership if I’m traveling or have a personal commitment? At this time, we don’t offer a pause option for membership. However, we’re open to discussing individual situations if you need assistance.
Can I bring a friend or guest to events? Certain events may allow guests or plus-ones. We’ll specify this when an event is announced, and guest tickets may be available for an additional fee.
